About the Gabby Mayo Foundation The Gabby Mayo Foundation empowers youth—especially underserved student-athletes and creatives—through elite coaching, mentorship, academic support, and fashion industry opportunities to build athletic excellence, creative expression, leadership, and lifelong careers. Inspired by Gabby Mayo’s journey as a world-class track and field athlete, the foundation reflects her dedication to hard work and relentless pursuit of excellence. Gabby Mayo is an accomplished track and field athlete who has dedicated 18 years to her sport. Starting her journey at the age of seven, she practiced diligently and achieved remarkable feats, including running the nation’s fastest high school times in the 100m (11.16s) and 200m (22.88s) in 2006. During the USATF Junior Nationals that year, her 200m time broke Marion Jones’s long-standing meet record, a significant achievement that drew national attention.
